Global Orphanage Trust has been running in India since 2008. An orphanage, Alice in Wonderland, has recently been opened, in which ten children live comfortably in a home. At the home, the children live with two caretakers and several volunteers, who also stay in the home. The children have been receiving a private school education, and have been attending tutoring courses daily, to catch up on their studies. Though the children are behind in their studies, because of their parents' untimely and unfortunate deaths, the children have been advancing rapidly in their English-stream education, as they have been interacting with English-speaking volunteers on a daily basis.
Aside from Global Orphanage Trust's operation of Alice in Wonderland, the organization, since 2009, runs a school for children who live in slums in rural parts of Delhi NCR. The school has a tarp-made tent for shelter, and teaches around 50 children. The students come to the school eager to learn, and are able to read and write in English and Hindi, unlike many of their parents, on account of the volunteers and teachers' enthusiasm to inspire the children, and owing to the children's thirst for knowledge. Global Orphanage Trust has provided the school children with clothes, school supplies, and a priceless education.
