Program: Teaching in faridabad, kolkatta

Starting Date: 1 Sep till 31st march

Accommodation/Meals: Host family and indian food three times a day

Work Hours: 24 hours a week/Monday - Friday

A residential community for visually impaired children and youth provides material and emotional resources such as education, work, recreation, culture, caring community and family that these special people need to lead a normal life.

A work-and-live situation, your job will involve reading from the text books so that they understand and learn, preparing the residents to face exams, offering emotional support, and providing company to the inhabitants of the house. You may also be asked to provide some instruction for them. Paralelly, you will be able to learn Braille script from your students. (You will be guided by the project organizers when necessary.)
